Does a geyser help the environment?

Lynn Melbourne: It depends whether it's exploding out polluted stuff or not

Raleigh Lufkin: A cone geyser like Old Faithful erupts a narrow jet of water and Fountain geysers like Grand geyser shoot water in various directions. Many have pools which are an eco system to themselves. Thousands of gallons of water erupt and yes it would feed the surrounding ecosystem. Natural geysers are not bad for the environment. There are better categories for this Q.

Tobie Oshea: Is it bad shooting out clean water?
