Lucille Saetteurn: I don't have Late Night, but im guessing from what i've read, they may have. As far as i know, when your celebrity sim has a baby, they get a special Trait, Stardom or something which increases the chance of becoming famous more easily. I'm not 100% sure if this is true though, that's just what i've read. Hope this helps! :]
Herma Ellebrecht: Not from the start, no. Even your husband/wife doesn't get your status when they move in ^^However it will quickly gain celeb status as it grows up - just keep up social interaction (even the barkeeps will eventually gain celebrity status if given enough time).
