It is now illegal for credit card companies to give a credit card to anyone under 21 who has no proof of income and no cosigner.2. The only type of credit card now available as a first credit card is a "secured" credit card. All other types are now available only to applicants who have previously had a credit card. (I am not counting prepaid credit cards, because they are really more like gift certificates or debit cards can they are like real credit cards.)3. There's no "one size fits all" cheapest car insurance, and there's no short cut for shopping around - but if you're in the military, you'll have a hard time finding a better deal than USAA.Stay away from those credit cards, though.
