Lahoma Beadell: Sure you can. if you take it to a large dealer (carmax etc) they will usually give you something for it. The problem is they will give you below half the price you could sell it for privately.You could try putting it on Craig's list for a reduced price and a statement that you need to sell it in the next few days and maybe get a bit more for it. It just depends how desperate you are. There are also some on line companies that buy cars, you just have to enter all the details and they will give you a price they are willing to pay. I have never used these companies so I'm not sure how good they are. Just do a yahoo search for 'buy my car' or something like that.I would only ever take a car to a dealer as a last resort.good luck....Show more
Donita Desjardin: Companies like Carmax will give you an offer for your car that is good for 7 days. They don't require you to buy anything from them. Some dealers will also consider i! t if your car is high in demand...(i.e. a non-gas guzzler)
